PBS August NewsletterAnnual Conference2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the first Ecumenical Council of the Christian Church, which was held in Nicaea (now Iznik, Turkey) in 325AD. The statement of the faith that we know as the Nicene Creed originated in the Council.At our conference keynote speakers will reflect the historical development and theological significance of this key text, which the BCP envisages will be said at every celebration of Holy Communion.Booking closes on 22 August.11th-13th September.Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester.Details & BookingPBS AGM 2025
Our Annual General meeting takes place on Saturday 30th August starting at 2.30pm in St Giles-in-the-Fields, London.The guest speaker is the Dean of Truro The Very Revd Simon Robinson. His talk will be entitled Lively Stones, a Spiritual House, an Holy Priesthood: The Book of Common Prayer as our Personal, Historical and Spiritual Continuity.The meeting is open to all members of the Society.
