The Household Support Fund (HSF) team would like to let you know that a new referral opportunity for food and energy support opened on 1 July 2025. This support is available to financially vulnerable adults and families living in Cheshire East. Please be aware that only one referral can be accepted per individual or household, and referrals cannot be backdated to previous opportunities. If additional referral opportunities become available in the future, this information will be updated on the Household Support Fund webpage.

If you are struggling with the cost of food or energy, you are encouraged to speak with a trusted professional who is familiar with your current situation. If appropriate, they can make a referral on your behalf. Trusted professionals are individuals working in organisations that support adults and families, such as those in health, education, housing, advice services, faith groups, or the voluntary and community sector. If a professional is unsure whether they are eligible to make a referral, they can contact the HSF Family Team by emailing HSFFamily@cheshireeast.gov.uk.
