|9th September||10am – 4pm St. Michael’s Church. Ride & Stride and Open Church – we will welcome visitors participating in the national“Ride & Stride” event between 10 am and 4pm – everyone will be offered coffee/tea and homemade cake free of charge. The Ride & Stride initiative is supported by The National Churches Trust, and the idea is to visit as many churches as possible on foot, by bike, on horseback or even by car! Participants are asked to seek sponsorship, and the money raised is shared equally between our county church trust and the individual church of your choice. (Details are available by Googling “Ride & Stride 2017”.) However, this is also our Open Church day, so drop in and have a look around the church and churchyard.|

|29th September||7 for 7:30pm in Marbury Village Hall. Harvest Supper and Auction of Promises. Supper will consist of Cottage Pie followed by Fruit Crumble (bring your own drinks), at a cost of £7.50 per head for adults, and £4 for children. After supper, well-known local auctioneer David Fisher will conduct an Auction of many and varied Promises! Tickets will be available in due course from Rev. Veronica, Diana Thomas or Carol Sheard (telephone numbers as above) – but please put this date in your diary now!|
