You may have heard from Rev Veronica that the Tushingham Parish newsletter has merged with the ‘Parish Meeting update’ for Tushingham, Macefen and Bradley, aiming to combine efforts and improve communication within our locality – covering church and community in general. The resulting magazine is called ‘The Bell’, and we hope to produce a couple of trial issues – once every 2 months – and see what sort of response we receive.
Easter Bonnet competition proved to be a winner at the first Pop-Up Shop of the year at Tushingham Church. Come along
every first Tuesday through the Summer 10am – 12pm…

To the community on behalf of St. Michael’s Church.
It seems that thieves have stolen lead recently from St.Oswald’s, Malpas and St. Chad’s, Farndon – so we need to be vigilant! especially as we have now provided them with scaffolding to get up to the roof!!!!!
We need to be aware of any strangers we see around the village or vehicles etc.
Revd Veronica. xx
The Pop Up Shop & Coffee morning held in St Chad’s in June was a great success. We have had 3 successful Coffee Cake and Shop mornings at St Chads church on the A41 at Tushingham with over 20 visitors each time and several children, locals get to meet up and chat and we have had people drop in from Lancashire and West Midlands. Veronica our Vicar gets to network and the shop has nearly new clothes, bric a brac plus hand made cards, gifts and currently some rather nice plants. The morning of Tuesday 1st of August has the special childrens attraction of ‘Storytime’ for the under 10s. All welcome to browse around the church or sales area or just enjoy cake and catch up with others in our café style area, from 10 till 12 noon July 4th and August 1st. Details
